The wedding music creates special feelings of happiness and sets the tone of your day of celebration. You may consider playing specially chosen songs or the day may feature soloists, a harpist, string quartet, instrumentalists, violinist, a classical guitarist, a piper or jazz band.
At the wedding reception you may enjoy instrumentalists playing during the dinner hour. Other entertainment may be a magician, fireworks display, live band or disc jockey which most wedding reception venues have organised and is part of the wedding package offered.
Things to consider in the type of entertainment you decide on would be the number of performers and the amount of space they will need. Ask about their attire and how often and for how long they "break". Do they have a preset routine or will they play your list of favourites songs. Check if the price is based on a flat fee or an hourly rate.
Good performers are often booked up several months in advance so organise as soon as you have made a discussion.
